Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a technician for the maintenance and repair of Microbulk units across Michigan. The role involves frequent travel to customer sites for diagnosing and repairing equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.

• Travel frequently to customer sites for repairs and preventative maintenance.

• Manage inventory and shipping of parts to technicians.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to customer sites for repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk units.
• Diagnose problems and failures, identifying replacement needs for equipment.
• Repair various items, systems, and components of Microbulk units.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition after repairs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure ongoing functionality of equipment, and request necessary equipment and supplies for installation and repair tasks.
• Manage inventory and shipping of parts to other technicians in the region, and arrange shipment of tanks to align with job schedules, which may involve planned and unplanned overnight travel.

What Makes You Great

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Experience in pipe fitting and brazing a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol‑related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
• Willingness to travel (overnight travel required).
