Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Microbulk Service Technician who will travel frequently to customer sites for repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk units. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Driver License.

Qualifications

Microbulk Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Frequently travel to customer sites for repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk units
• Diagnose problems and failures, identifying replacement needs for equipment
• Repair various items, systems, and components of Microbulk units
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition after repairs
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maintain ongoing functionality of equipment, and request necessary equipment and supplies for installation and repair tasks
• Manage inventory and shipping of parts to other technicians in the region and arrange shipment of tanks to align with job schedules, which may involve planned or unplanned overnight travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Experience with pipefitting and brazing is a plus
• Valid Driver License with clean driving record
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• Willing to travel, including overnight travel required
