Job summary

Actalent in Atlanta, GA is actively interviewing for an Entry Level Microbiologist Technician to support a specialty food and beverage company. The role focuses on microbiological media preparation, culture maintenance, and aseptic techniques.

You will also revive archived cultures, extract genomic DNA for 16S sequencing, and monitor small-scale fermentations while keeping precise records and adhering to SOPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge or laboratory experience in microbiology, molecular biology, or fermentation is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a safe laboratory environment and follow SOPs.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
