Job summary

Mérieux NutriSciences in Columbus, OH is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join our public health mission of safer food systems. You will prepare samples for analysis, record data, and support testing workflows in a busy laboratory.

Expect a Monday–Friday day shift with potential weekend rotation. Compensation is $20.00/hour USD, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, PTO, and an optional 401(k).

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 1+ year relevant work in a laboratory.
• Basic science knowledge to perform testing procedures accurately.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending.
• Write identification onto plates to track client and sample numbers.
• Operate pipetting and transfer samples as required by testing protocols.
• Maintain documentation and support quality and continuous improvement processes.
• Adhere to safety policies and keep work areas clean.
• Participate in cleaning and retain sample procedures.
