Eagle Analytical is seeking a Microbiologist to perform routine and complex testing, interpret results, and support QC in media production. The role involves aseptic handling of BSL-1/BSL-2 microorganisms and maintaining accurate documentation.

You will participate in compliance audits and uphold quality standards. Ideal candidates hold a microbiology degree with lab experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with hands-on microbiology/chemistry labs.
• MS or 3+ years QC microbiology experience.
• Experience in microbial testing methods and QC workflows.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing on samples and meet deadlines.
• Interpret results to determine pass/fail.
• Manufacturing and QC testing for in-house media production.
• Perform complex testing with minimal supervision.
• Aseptic production of BSL-1 and BSL-2 microorganisms.
• Record, report and investigate unexpected results.
• Handle and maintain BSL-2 microorganisms.
• Maintain documentation and participate in audits.
