Job summary

Fleet Laboratories in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Microbiology Supervisor to ensure microbiological quality of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and support R&D with test design and data interpretation.

You will supervise microbiologists, coordinate testing to established standards, lead investigations, and ensure cGMP compliance across the Quality Department, contributing to a robust quality system and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a scientific discipline (Biology or Microbiology preferred).
• Minimum of 5–7 years of microbiology laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise microbiologists in the Quality Control Laboratory.
• Coordinate microbiological testing to established standards.
• Design and execute microbiological testing of developmental samples.
• Lead investigations related to microbiological issues.
• Ensure compliance with cGMPs and regulatory requirements.
