Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests according to established protocols and adjusts workflow to complete work promptly.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and follows reporting procedures.
• Performs calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments and equipment; detects malfunctions and applies corrections.
• Maintains quality control and assurance; analyzes QC results and takes corrective action when needed.
• Collects specimens from patients; ensures proper labeling and suitability for testing.
