Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree in microbiology or related field required.
• ASCP certification preferred or required.
• Prior experience in microbiology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate, and high‑complexity microbiology tests.
• Evaluate specimens and apply criteria to ensure quality results.
• Run QA/QC procedures to meet federal, state, and CAP standards.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment for optimal performance.
• Participate in additional duties as needed.
