Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a detail-oriented Microbiologist for the 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The role includes microbiological testing, culture preparation, and data documentation in a professional lab. A Bachelor’s in Microbiology or related field is preferred, with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
• Experience with laboratory software and data entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis on samples
• Prepare and maintain laboratory cultures, media, and reagents
• Conduct routine laboratory procedures and document results accurately
• Monitor and evaluate test data to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with calibration activities
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety standards, and company procedures
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate laboratory records
• Assist with investigations and corrective actions when needed
