Job summary

Boston Scientific in Minnesota is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform routine chemical and microbiological analyses in support of the quality program. You will interpret results, recommend actions, and support continuous improvement in a regulated lab environment.

The role is onsite five days a week in our Minneapolis area, offering exposure to advanced instrumentation and LIMS usage while ensuring accuracy, safety and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite applications
• Experience working in microbiology and regulated laboratories
• Experience with sample receipt, bacterial endotoxin testing, and bioburden testing (aseptic techniques)

Responsibilities

• Receive and log in test samples via laboratory information management software
• Conduct general laboratory support functions such as reviewing inventory, ordering, and receiving supplies; support of continuous laboratory cleanliness; collecting, washing, and storing glassware
• Perform basic equipment preventive maintenance; prepare routine solutions and reagents; assist in equipment/process troubleshooting
• Make and record observations; perform simple calculations; prepare data for evaluation
• Perform routine tests and document results in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Participate in lab continuous improvement activities to drive lean culture and improve overall quality
• Assist investigations related to testing (ownership of NCEPs and CAPAs in eCAPA)
• Maintain records and perform duties in conformance with policies and standards
