Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biological sciences, or related field of study preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in clinical, academic, or industrial/pharmaceutical microbiology laboratories preferred.
• Experience with microbiological assays and testing.
• Desirable experience in environmental monitoring, trending, and testing of utilities.
• Proficiency with GM P/GLP practices and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Monitoring: air and surface sampling for bacteria and fungi; trend data and characterize microflora.
• Utilities testing: water, clean steam, WFI for microbial counts and endotoxins; air for particulates.
