Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related field, 1 year of lab experience, and proficiency in GLP/GMP. Shift options include Sun-Wed or Thurs-Sat, 0600-1700, with hybrid work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biological sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical, academic, or industrial microbiology lab.
• Experience in microbiological assays and testing.
• Experience in environmental monitoring and testing of utilities.
• Proficiency in GLPs and GMPs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Monitoring: air sampling, swab/RODAC methods, CliMet sampling; trend data and microflora characterization.
• Utilities testing: water for microbial count, endotoxin tests, clean steam and WFI tests.
• Perform validation activities (bioburden, endotoxin tests).
• Data entry into Microbiology Information Management Systems (MIMS).
• Document results in GMP-compliant manner and maintain lab safety and SOP adherence.
