County of Ventura, CA is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist III to supervise the microbiology laboratory operations at Ventura County Medical Center/Santa Paula Hospital. The role includes directing workflow, ensuring quality control, maintaining inventories, and managing equipment maintenance.

Open to candidates who meet the education and licensure requirements and who can oversee personnel across multiple shifts.

Qualificações

• Four (4) years of recent clinical microbiology laboratory testing and technical analysis experience under the direction of a qualified laboratory director.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist license issued by the State of California Department of Health Services

Responsabilidades

• Supervises laboratory workflow and evaluates test results.
• Maintains laboratory staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage.
• Reviews and updates quality control measures based on statistical analysis of quality control data.
• Performs and is responsible for the completion of technical analyses in the Microbiology lab.
• Tabulates and compiles data for monthly workload recording.
