Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science and NAACLS accredited clinical microbiology rotation.
• Bachelor's degree with biology, chemistry, and mathematics and NAACLS accredited program.
• ASCP/AMT certification as CLS/MT or Microbiology MT; AAB certification with 10+ years of microbiology experience; HEW-certified MT acceptable with 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Microbiology laboratory ensuring continuity and high-quality results.
• Lead QA/QC, maintenance schedules, and review of daily test results.
• Train, orient, and evaluate staff; coordinate competency documentation.
• Collaborate with the department manager to resolve technical issues.
