Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology.
• MLT (ASCP) certified, LA (ASCP) certified, or meet training/experience requirements for MLT certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports monthly QA parameters to the Director of Consolidated Laboratory Services.
• Manages continuing education activities and addresses departmental or hospital problems.
• Checks daily reports for errors and notifies necessary personnel.
• Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on schedule with proper documentation.
• Accountable for 24/7 laboratory activities and ensures compliance with accrediting agencies.
• Interacts with physicians and other departments to address complaints, protocol changes, and unusual circumstances.
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of all aspects of the assigned section.
