Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Microbiology Lab Supervisor - CLS for Sacramento, CA, working Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM. The role oversees specimen workflow, test performance and documentation in a fast-paced clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adequate staffing by interviewing, hiring, training and competency assessment of personnel.

• Provides technical oversight and acts as a resource for problem-solving and process improvements.
• Ensures compliance with quality assurance, control and improvement plans.
• Oversees supplies and equipment to maximize department efficiency.
