Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Biology or Chemistry preferred but not required.
• Current Medical Technologist licensure from ASCP, AMT, AAB or NCA.
• Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special procedures in the Microbiology department.
• Review and verify microbiology specimen reports and release results.
• Load specimens, run tests, and ensure proper identification of organisms.
• Maintain quality control and comply with laboratory safety policies.
