Job summary

Analytical Food Laboratories, a Tentamus Company, in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Microbiologist I on 2nd shift to support daily microbiology lab operations. You will prepare client samples, enrich for pathogen testing, and manage media preparation with precise pipetting and incubation protocols.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related science and familiarity with GLP/ISO guidelines. You will join a team focused on accuracy, traceability, and continuous improvement within a GMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with microbiological testing methods, laboratory equipment, and GLP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client samples and enrich them for pathogen testing.
• Create serial dilutions and manage incubation and media preparation.
• Perform testing and quality control procedures ensuring accurate, defensible results.
