Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in North Brunswick Township, NJ seeks a microbiology laboratory leader responsible for ensuring cGMP and ISO 17025 compliant testing. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and collaborate with QA, Business Development and customers to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a testing laboratory, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 17025 and cGMP.
• Internal contact includes daily contact with all personnel and regular contact with management.
• External contact may require infrequent contact with Clients and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Detailed understanding of microbiological sciences related to pharmaceutical and medical device testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Responsive problem solver and action-oriented

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and support through effective planning, execution, and resource management.
• Motivate staff to perform at high levels and ensure client satisfaction through quality processes.
• Assist in daily operations, scheduling, supervising, and ensuring on-time delivery of reports and data packages.
• Serve as subject matter expert for regulatory guidelines, test results, and technical support.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of QA reports.
• Plan and oversee development of new laboratory technologies and test methods.
• Ensure training and development of staff and maintenance of equipment.
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and quality management system.
