Qualifications

• MS or BS degree with 10+ years hands-on experience in microbiology laboratory operations and people management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and activities in the Microbiology Laboratory and personnel.
• Provide leadership and support through planning and execution of all tests and activities.
• Author, review, and approve technical reports, protocols, forms, NCE, OOS, CAPAs, SOPs and other microbiology docs.
• Provide final client reports to ensure on-time delivery of results.
• Train new and existing microbiology staff as needed.
• Ensure and maintain compliance in the Microbiology Laboratory.
• Perform testing following required methods and train staff accordingly.
• Knowledge of microbiology lab equipment and safe handling of hazardous waste.
