Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Micro Supervisor for the Casa Grande, Arizona plant. The role leads the Microbiology QA Laboratories, overseeing environmental monitoring, microbial testing, CAPA and staff development.

The position sits within Abbott Nutrition, with responsibilities spanning QA, regulatory compliance and cross‑functional collaboration. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in Food Science or Microbiology (Master’s preferred) and have experience in microbiology

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related area.
• Technical knowledge of sterilization methods, microbial physiology, biochemical characterization of isolates, disinfection/sanitization, and aseptic handling.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain the quality system effectively.
• Manage budgetary and staff requirements.
• Provide microbial support for retort, powder, and aseptic lines.
• Develop microbiological guidelines and specifications with division personnel.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, safety and HR policies.
