Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory tests with high accuracy for ER, OR, and Cath Lab
• Conducts quality control procedures and initiates corrective actions
• Assists supervisor and director with interdepartmental communications, acting as a lead resource
• Calibrates and verifies reagents and testing kits with accurate record-keeping
• Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment
• Maintains clean, organized work area and assists in inventory management
• Reviews LIS data entry for accuracy and timely specimen processing
• Trains and mentors new staff on procedures and regulatory updates
• Monitors turnaround times and adherence to protocols
• Participates in proficiency testing and quality assurance initiatives
