Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process specimens in the Microbiology Department: receiving, plating, and storing for culture reading.
• Handle molecular and EIA testing prep and blood culture processing.
• Maintain lab area with appropriate supplies and complete daily checklists.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner and HealthConnect/EPIC LIS; ensure accurate orders and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional conduct.
• Attend trainings and safety/department meetings; ensure HIPAA compliance and data integrity.
