Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Tucker, GA seeks a motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures under guidance from the Laboratory Manager and senior staff. You will assist with workload recording, inventory control, and development of new procedures, applying independent judgment and critical thinking.

Responsibilities include analytic testing, pre-analytic specimen handling, post-analytic result release, and adherence to quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MT/MLS registration or equivalent documentation from GA.
• Minimum one year post-registration MT/MLS experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow Lab policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Process orders and assure timely reporting of results.
• Maintain QC and instrument maintenance per procedures.
• Assist with workload recording, inventory control, and reagent tracking.
• Participate in department meetings and trainings.
