Antech Diagnostics in Fountain Valley, CA, is seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Aide to assist with collecting, identifying, processing and preparing microbiology samples. Day shifts required, with weekend work as needed.

The role emphasizes accurate labeling, inoculation, MIC plate handling, QA/QC tasks, and adherence to SOPs within a collaborative lab environment. Prior lab experience and a science background are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2- or 4-year degree in science-related field preferred.
• Prior lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and inoculate microbiology samples.
• Label, inoculate, and load MIC plates.
• Screen urine cultures and enter QC data.
• Maintain equipment and clean work area.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures.
