Responsibilities

• Accession clinical specimens for diagnostic workup.

• Use MALDI-TOF MS and PCR for identification.
• Perform DNA and RNA isolation.
• Perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
• Report test results to clients.
• Ensure adequate inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
• Develop and maintain SOPs.
• Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA requirements.
