Job summary

Pace® Labs in Oakdale, MN is hiring a full-time Microbiology Associate Scientist 1 for an on-site role. Training is 90 days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; regular schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation is $22.00–$24.00 per hour, based on location, experience, and internal equity. The role focuses on fundamental microbiology analysis, instrument operation, data review, and documentation in a regulated lab environment, contributing to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology/Biology or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Fundamental principles, practices, and techniques of microbiology.
• Understanding of standard testing tools, instruments and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamental analysis in support of standard testing materials and devices following SOPs.
• Reviews, analyzes, interprets, and documents testing results.
• Oversees or reviews microbiology forms, documents and databases.
• Interprets and counsels staff regarding microbiology policies and practices.
• Gathers feedback from customers and coordinates resources as required.
• Presents results, proposals and recommendations to management.
