Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Scientist 1 in Environmental Microbiology for a full-time, onsite role. You'll conduct hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory, focusing on mold and fungal structures, and contribute to data integrity that informs public health and environmental decisions.

The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with compensation of $16.66 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology or related science field; equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work in a laboratory, stand for extended periods, tolerate odors, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples for mold and other fungal structures via microscopy.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results in lab records.
