Job summary

USPL in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking Microbiologist I, II and III to perform microbiological testing across materials, products, water, and environmental samples in support of cGMP compliance.

The role offers progressive responsibilities, opportunity to work with Neogen Soleris systems, and involvement in validations, investigations, and audits. Candidates should have a relevant degree and lab experience with GDP and 21 CFR Part 11 familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or related field; at least 1 year lab experience for Level I.
• Strong knowledge of USP methods, cGMP, GDP, and 21 CFR Part 11 preferred at higher levels.
• Ability to work independently, maintain records, and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbial limit testing using aseptic technique.
• Monitor and record daily temperature/humidity logs in the lab.
• Conduct environmental monitoring in production areas.
• Prepare microbiological media and growth promotion testing.
• Assist with QA investigations and CAPA as needed.
