Mérieux NutriSciences - North America in Stone Mountain, GA invites an entry-level Microbiologist 2 to join a busy laboratory. Your day includes preparing samples, tracking plates, and performing routine analyses under supervision.

You will work with LIMS to document results and support quality initiatives in a regulated lab environment. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, $23.00 hourly USD pay, and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for overtime as needed to support production

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or equivalent with basic science knowledge.
• Ability to perform testing procedures accurately and enter results.
• Awareness of laboratory safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare samples for analysis by recording, weighing and blending.
• Write identification onto plates to track clients and samples.
• Pipette sample solutions into tubes or plates per analysis protocol.
• Pour agar into plates or tubes to start the growth process.
• Collect plates and incubate for specified time and temperature.
• Prepare media and broth for pathogen testing as required.
• Ensure media and materials are ready for next testing sequence.
• Maintain knowledge of LIMS required to complete tasks.
• Set up equipment and materials needed for analysis.
• Read plates and tubes to determine organism count.
