Qualifications

• BS in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Food Sciences or related is required.
• 1+ years in FDA regulated GMP environment in food or pharmaceutical microbiology lab preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team; ownership of tasks and willingness to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Microbiological skills including aerobic plate counts, MPN, isolating and identifying cultures, ELISA, PCR, media prep, aseptic technique.
• Routine lab functions: data entry, validation, maintaining control cultures, instrument calibration/maintenance.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and audit readiness, 5S organization, and cleaning.
• Process validation and protocol support, sample collection, and allergen testing.
