Job summary

Perrigo seeks a qualified microbiology professional to join our FDA-regulated GMP laboratory team in Ohio. You will perform microbiological analyses, manage data entry, and maintain quality control under SOPs. Emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and teamwork.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or related field and 1+ years of GMP experience. Overtime may be required to meet regulatory deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Food Sciences or related required.
• 1+ years’ experience in FDA regulated GMP environment in a food or pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory setting preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibility for the results.
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analyses and plating as per SOPs.
• Enter data and validate results in LIMS/records.
• Maintain sterile techniques and quality control practices.
• Assist with instrument calibration and maintenance.
• Support process validation and protocol documentation
