Blackrock Neurotech is seeking an Electrode Manufacturing Technician I to fabricate and assemble microelectrode arrays in a controlled cleanroom environment at our Salt Lake City headquarters. The role emphasizes precision, steady hands, and meticulous workmanship to advance neural interface technology.

You will perform micro-soldering, wire bonding, and component placement under a microscope, following detailed procedures and GMP/ISO guidance while contributing to device reliability and patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or AA or equivalent.
• Extremely steady hands and very fine motor precision.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures precisely and consistently.
• Strong reading and writing skills in English.
• GMP training or FDA/ISO familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build acute and chronic microelectrode array implant assemblies in a cleanroom environment.
• Perform precise work under a microscope with tiny components.
• Document production work per GMP and ISO/FDA requirements.
• Follow step-by-step work instructions and engineering drawings exactly.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance for process improvements.
