Job description

Our Client, a Manufacturing and Distribution Facilities company, is looking for a Micro Lab Technician for their Ada, MI location.

Responsibilities:

1. This role supports raw material processing in the lab’s lean cells. It manages supplier COA issues such as trade name discrepancies, missing test results, and incorrect limits. The technician partners with suppliers to improve documentation accuracy and collaborates with internal teams to enhance specifications and testing parameters. Attention to detail, organization, and follow-through are essential to ensure timely raw material release. The role involves collaboration with other QC team members and offers growth opportunities with upcoming volume transfers.

Requirements:

1. Associates or BS degree in chemistry, biology, life sciences, or a related field.
2. Ability to follow SOPs/test methods and report data accurately.
3. Experience conducting experiments as directed by scientists.
4. GMP chemistry laboratory experience preferred.
5. Experience with QA Lab Systems such as STARLIMS, ETQ Document Control, and JDE Release functions preferred.
6. Strong attention to detail to follow test procedures, SOPs, and safety requirements.
7. Ability to document work accurately and perform data analysis.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
9. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
10. Flexible team player, self-motivated, adaptable, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
