Job summary

EPIC Health is seeking a Laboratory District Manager to lead and optimize the organization’s Michigan-based laboratory services. You will oversee multi-site operations, standardize workflows, and ensure CLIA, COLA, LARA, CMS, OSHA, and MDHHS compliance while driving performance and growth across physician office labs, core labs, and referral testing.

The role requires 5+ years in laboratory operations leadership, strong project management, and proficiency with Athena EHR, LIS, and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS, biological science, healthcare admin or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive laboratory or diagnostics operations leadership with multi-site scope.
• Experience overseeing point-of-care and non-point-of-care operations.
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, COLA, CMS, OSHA, MDHHS and lab quality systems.
• Experience managing operations, staffing, quality programs, equipment, inventory, budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for EPIC Health labs across Michigan including core operations.
• Lead Laboratory Managers and staff across locations; standardize workflows and policies.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, COLA, LARA, CMS, OSHA, MDHHS; audit readiness.
• Oversee specimen collection, testing workflows, reporting and referral labs.
• Drive growth through new locations, tests, services and technolog y implementations.
• Develop KPIs, manage budgets, inventory, vendor relationships and staffing.
