Metis Search seeks an Analyst/Associate to join our investment team in Miami. You will support origination, underwriting and execution of real estate credit investments across the full transaction lifecycle.

Working with senior investment professionals, you will gain exposure to live transactions, credit risk assessment, and transaction structuring across multiple property types and US markets.

Qualifikationen

• One to three years of relevant experience within real estate private credit or related fields.
• Strong academic record from a leading university.
• Demonstrable interest in real estate credit, lending and transaction execution.
• Strong financial-modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of real estate cash flows, capital structures and investment fundamentals.
• Exposure to live transactions and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to take ownership of assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative and comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial team.
• Willingness to work on-site in Miami, with relocation commitment.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate prospective real estate lending opportunities across property types and financing situations.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models including cash-flow projections and debt sizing.
• Analyse operating performance, rent rolls, budgets and capital structures.
• Assess valuations, market dynamics, sponsorship strength and sources/uses of capital.
• Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate downside protection and risks.
• Assist in loan structuring, pricing, covenants and mitigants.
• Prepare underwriting materials for senior investment professionals and committees.
• Support transactions from screening to closing.
• Coordinate due diligence across property, market, financial and legal aspects.
• Review appraisals, reports and third-party materials.
• Engage with borrowers, brokers and advisers to evaluate information.
• Assist with term sheets, committee papers and closing materials.
• Monitor workstreams and ensure deadlines and closings.
• Identify investment risks and communicate findings clearly.
