Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate in Miami to join our growing practice. You will work on sophisticated financing transactions representing lenders, borrowers, developers, and funds across office, retail, multifamily, and other CRE assets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience at a law firm in commercial real estate finance.
• Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in CRE lending transactions.
• Strong understanding of financing structures involving CRE assets.
• Admission to the Florida Bar, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, document, and close commercial real estate financing transactions.
• Represent lenders and borrowers in acquisition, construction, bridge, permanent, mezzanine, and syndicated loan transactions.
• Assist with origination, purchase, sale, participation, syndication, and securitization of commercial mortgage loans.
• Conduct and manage transaction due diligence, including review of real estate, title, survey, organizational, and financing documents.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and ancillary transaction agreements.
• Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, and other transaction participants throughout all phases of a transaction.
• Support restructuring, workout, and other distressed real estate finance matters as opportunities arise.
