Job summary

Albert Uster Imports is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant Manager for our Miami Warehouse. The role assists the Distribution Center Manager with day-to-day operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and customer service.

You will train and develop the DC team while driving cost reduction through efficiency and innovation. The role requires bilingual Spanish & English skills, 4 years of warehousing experience, and the ability to lead a team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish & English.
• 4 years of working experience in warehousing, logistics, or related fields.
• Ability to lead and supervise employees; proactive communicator.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of modern warehousing techniques including logistics and shipping options.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and meet objectives without supervision.
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as workload dictates.
• Physical requirement: ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse expenses within budget (freight spend and supplies).
• Oversee the warehouse and facility operations to meet company standards.
• Lead and oversee FSQA programs within the distribution center.
