Job summary

Crest Industries is seeking an MI Solutions Architect I for our Ruston, LA location. This role designs scalable, secure architectures guiding Manufacturing Intelligence solutions across systems and environments, focusing on governance, data flows, and integration strategies.

You will translate business requirements into architecture frameworks, provide technical guidance throughout projects, and collaborate with IT, engineering, operations, and software teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• Approximately eight or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing technical architectures.
• Strong foundation in software design, system integration, data architecture, and overall systems design.
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, manufacturing environments, and industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture workshops, technical planning sessions, design reviews, and project discussions.
• Lead the technical design of solutions and guide implementation teams in applying approved architectures.
• Design enterprise integrations and data architectures connecting MI platforms with ERP, historians, SCADA, PLCs, databases, cloud environments.
• Ensure architectures align with enterprise standards, governance, and integration strategies.
• Provide architectural direction and mentorship to delivery teams and stakeholders.
