Provides patient advocacy by modeling standards of performance and communicating effectively to meet patients’ needs for service. Assists registered nurses in direct patient care, focusing on activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment through observation, interaction, and assistance with group activities.
This position is primarily assigned to cover 1:1 and/or designated acuity shifts on inpatient units. When no 1:1 or acuity needs are present, the employee will be reallocated to the float pool to cover other hospital needs.
20/40 Part Time Nights, every other weekend.
Lippitt 2 is an Adult Inpatient Intensive Treatment Unit.
