Job summary

Larkin Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Technician (MHT) to provide essential behavioral health support in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting in Hollywood, FL. The MHT will work closely with clinicians to monitor patient progress, provide emotional support, and contribute to a collaborative care environment aimed at improving outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Strong communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• Preferred: Certification as Mental Health Technician; trauma-informed care training.

Responsibilities

The MHT Full-Time position at Larkin Behavioral Health Services (LBHS) is a critical role focused on providing comprehensive mental health support to individuals in need. The primary goal is to assist in the assessment, treatment, and recovery of patients experiencing behavioral health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and facilitate therapeutic interventions. Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic knowledge of mental health disorders and crisis intervention techniques.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Mental Health Technician or equivalent credential.
