Larkin Behavioral Health Services in Hollywood, FL seeks a Mental Health Technician (MHT) for a full-time role to support patient assessment, treatment, and recovery in a safe, therapeutic setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include direct patient support, crisis intervention, and collaboration with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic knowledge of mental health disorders and crisis intervention techniques.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular patient observations and document behavioral changes accurately.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision.
• Provide direct support and crisis intervention to patients in distress.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training to enhance professional skills.
