Myers-Holum seeks a Senior Manager, Business Systems to lead NetSuite-driven ERP initiatives across purchasing, fulfillment, sales support, and finance. You will own configuration, integration, and change management, ensuring reliable data flow and adoption of new processes across multiple functions.
The role involves coordinating with Engineering, leading acquisition integrations, and delivering operational reporting for inventory and order status. Hybrid work is offered near New London, CT.
Start by Listening: the fastest way to level this system up is to have theconversations a compressed go-live didn't leave room for. In your first weeksyou'll sit with purchasing, fulfillment, sales support, and finance to learn howthe work actually happens — then publish a clear-eyed assessment of whereNetSuite fits the business, where it doesn't, and the order you propose fixingthings in. We want a plan the whole company recognizes as accurate, not abacklog of complaints.
Take Ownership of the Configuration: get to the bottom of what's actually inthere — SuiteScripts, SuiteFlow workflows, custom records and fields, savedsearches, roles and permissions — and document it as you go. On a systemthis young that's weeks of work rather than quarters, and it's the foundationfor everything after. Then tell us honestly what's solid, what needs reshaping, and what should be retired.
Establish Change Management, Technical and Human: we launched fast, which meant changes went to production without much process behind them. You'll build real sandbox-to-production discipline — testing, release process, the ability to roll back. Then you'll own the harder half: getting changesadopted. A NetSuite change that lands badly here doesn't produce a bugreport, it produces a workaround, and the people most affected are on forkliftsand delivery trucks rather than reading release notes. You'll communicatechanges before they land, train people in a format they'll actually absorb, andgo back afterward to confirm the new way is the way — not the clipboardsomeone quietly returned to.
Own the Integration Layer:you'll be accountable for how our systems talk toeach other — the connections to freight, banking, EDI, and our partnernetwork, plus the NetSuite side of the HubSpot handoff, where a closed dealbecomes a sales order, a fulfillment, and an invoice. Revenue Operationsconfigures HubSpot; you make sure what lands in NetSuite is correct, monitored, and never fails silently.
Coordinate with Engineering:some of our customer-facing products readfrom the ERP, which makes NetSuite a production dependency rather than apurely internal tool. Engineering owns the product side and the code that talksto us; you own the ERP side of that contract — which means knowing whichfields have downstream consumers and talking to Engineering before youchange them. It also means your work reaches customers. Most businesssystems people never touch anything outside the building; here, the quality ofour operational data is visible in the product.
Serve Sales and Fulfillment: these are your power users, and their problemsare physical. You'll spend real time in our facilities understanding how materialactually moves before proposing how the system should model it — then buildthe operational reporting they depend on for inventory, purchasing, orderstatus, and fulfillment, and fix the data quality problems that keep people inparallel spreadsheets. Funnel, pipeline, and revenue reporting belong toRevenue Operations; your job is making sure both sets of numbers reconcile.
Own How We Absorb Acquisitions: we've completed four and expect more. Each arrives with its own data, processes, and habits. You'll own the ERPstandard — how the operational data model should look, what gets mappedwhere, what documentation we require — while contractors do the migrationlabor and Revenue Operations handles the GTM side. Our most recentacquisition is being onboarded to NetSuite right now, so depending on yourstart date you'll either inherit the tail end of it or arrive just behind it.Then Build. Once the foundation is right, the work ahead is substantive: betterfulfillment across owned and partner locations, a smoother experience for oursales team, and the clean operational data our product team needs to showcustomers what's genuinely available. Matching supply to demand across afragmented industry is, underneath everything, a systems problem — andthese systems need to carry a business two or three times this size as wehead toward our next fundraise and further acquisitions. You'll be the personwho makes that possible.
What You'll Have to Work WithA young system, still cheap to reshape. NetSuite went live earlier this year, sothe structural decisions — item and unit-of-measure setup, master data, transaction flows — can still be changed without unwinding years of history. Most people in this field inherit a decade of accumulated constraint and gettold nothing can move. Here, almost everything still can.A clean stack. For a company that's completed four acquisitions, our tooling isunusually tidy: Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, HubSpot, and NetSuite. Youwon't spend your first year untangling forty overlapping tools.A focused mandate. You'll be measured on whether our core systems are reliable and well-liked — not on ticket volume.Specialist help on retainer. We're keeping contractor capacity availablethrough your first year: for surge work, for deep development, and so you'renever the only person who has ever seen this environment. You should be ableto take a vacation.Real authority. You decide what gets decommissioned, what gets rebuilt, andwhen we bring in outside help. Architecture decisions in your domain areyours to make, not to recommend. The mandate to build how prioritization works. Systems requests currentlyarrive via whoever asks loudest. You'll establish the standing forum thatreplaces that — Finance, Sales, Fulfillment, Revenue Operations, andEngineering at one table, with a ranked backlog everyone can see. You'll haveexecutive backing to convene it, and it's yours to design rather than somethingyou inherit.Room to grow into. If this function grows, it grows around you.
This company is committed to building an inclusive organization that reflects the diverse communities our team works to serve. We believe that diversity in all its forms (gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, veteran's status, disability and more) is essential to imagining and actively building a more just and sustainable future for all. We hope you feel welcome here. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
