Sysco Foods is seeking an experienced MHE Technician III to oversee safe operation and daily maintenance of Material Handling Equipment and industrial batteries. The role includes mentoring junior technicians, performing electrical and hydraulic repairs, and ensuring fleet availability for operations teams.

Candidates should have extensive MHE maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a background in PLCs and motor controls.

Qualifications

• Six years in an MHE maintenance position or equivalent experience.
• High School diploma or GED; tech school preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet liability coverage requirements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safe operation, daily monitoring and PM of MHE and batteries.
• Perform duties of MHE Technician III and provide supervision when needed.
• Mentor MHE Tech I and II to build capabilities for higher responsibility.
• Demonstrate sound decision making for MHE repair and fleet availability.
• Provide daily reporting to Director Fleet and Facility Maintenance / Supervisor.
• Perform electrical repairs and welding as required and maintain PMs.
• Maintain electrical and hydraulic systems, PLCs, and motor controls.
