Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and log labor and parts in our system.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, the ability to read schematics and manuals, and a willingness to assist in general building maintenance tasks. 2nd shift, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience logging work orders and PMs.
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electric and propane industrial lift trucks, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines and timelines.
• Log time and parts into the computerized maintenance system.
• Interpret plans, schematics, and maintenance manuals to troubleshoot and repair.
• Assist in building maintenance tasks including electrical and refrigeration systems as needed.
