Job summary

A federal technical solutions contractor is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot for the MH-6 helicopter. The role includes executing Maintenance Test Flights, ensuring compliance with aircrew training tasks, and maintaining FAA medical certifications. Candidates must hold at least 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, including specific MDS hours. Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must have no less than 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time.
• Must log a minimum of 50 hours as a Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP).
• Must hold an instrument rating on FAA Commercial Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Aircrew Training Manual tasks are accomplished.
• Complete initial and annual FAA second class flight physical.
• Undergo annual flight evaluation by Instructor Pilot and Maintenance Test Flight Evaluator.
• Evaluate performance in accordance with appropriate ATM.

Skills

Proficient in flying operations of rotary wing helicopters

Demonstrate instrument task proficiency

Capability to obtain a secret security clearance

Willing to travel in support of aircraft maintenance

Education

Graduate of the AMOC II course (preferred)

Tools

Ground and in-flight diagnostic test equipment
