Job summary

An Alaska Native Corporation federal contractor is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot for the MH-6 helicopter. This role involves performing maintenance test flights, ensuring compliance with training manuals, and maintaining flight proficiency. Ideal candidates will have at least 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command experience, an FAA second-class medical certificate, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. The position requires traveling in support of aircraft maintenance, with trips lasting up to two weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. drivers license.
• Must have no less than 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command time.
• Must maintain a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using ground and in-flight diagnostic test equipment.
• Complete annual FAA flight evaluations.
• Ensure Aircrew Training Manual tasks are accomplished.

Skills

Flying operations of rotary wing helicopters

Instrument task proficiency

Ability to pass FAA second class flight physical

Secret security clearance

MELB qualification in the A/MH-6 aircraft

Travel willingness

Education

Graduate of AMOC II course (preferred)
