Job summary

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) seeks a Maintenance Test Pilot for MH-47G aircraft to perform MTF and FTF duties, and conduct MOC checks. The role involves real-time testing with ground and in-flight diagnostic equipment and regular currency evaluations.

The candidate must hold MH-47G/CH-47F qualification, PIC hours, an FAA Class 2 medical, and an active Secret clearance, with willingness to travel CONUS up to two weeks per trip.

Qualifications

• Qualified MH-47G or CH-47F MDS aircraft experience.
• Combined 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
• Minimum 100 PIC hours in MH-47G/CH-47F.
• Minimum 50 hours as Maintenance Test Pilot on MH-47G/CH-47F.
• DA Form 759 and flight records to prove currency/ratings.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in flying operations of assigned rotary wing helicopters.
• Demonstrate instrument task proficiency on annual flight evaluation by detachment evaluators.
• Undergo annual flight evaluation by IP and MTFE.
• Ensure ATM tasks required for flight duties are completed.
