Placements may be remote, hybrid, or in-person and typically last three to six months, with flexible work weeks ranging from 24 to 40 hours.

Applicants should have experience working with:

• Checkpoint, Load Balancer, Firewall and VDX
• Network hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting (HP/Extreme preferred). Solid understanding of IP, LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies and protocols, switching and routing, wireless, cabling, security, firewall and VPN configuration.
• Expert knowledge of HPExtreme Networking (or similar) in a distributed environment
• Expert knowledge of firewalls, security devices and wireless devices (Fortinet/Cisco preferred)
• Expert knowledge of best security practices
• Configuration of STP, OSPF, IGRP, QoS, BGP, SNMP, L2/L3 VLANs, ACL’s, VRRP, Load Balancers, SSL
• Experience with VMWare Horizon (View) and VMware vSphere
• Experience in managing/networking Storage Area Networks (HP Preferred)
