Overview

How you can make a difference

This Manager Software Engineering role involves leading a team supporting Business Services Integration (BSI) across all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, integration, deployment, automation, support, and monitoring. The team will specifically support IVR APIs, Partner integrations, and Partner APIs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage personnel actions for your team, including hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and performance management.
• Lead system design, architecture, and scaling discussions. Own the development and maintenance of your team’s applications and infrastructure.
• Develop and monitor key performance metrics for your team’s software, and drive process and quality improvements.
• Manage agile development processes to maximize stakeholder value with high quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with Product teams to ensure alignment on project deliverables.
• Work with the Quality Center of Excellence to enhance quality in your team.
• Maintain technical proficiency by engaging with professional groups, training, seminars, and industry literature.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Knowledge of software architecture, development, testing, and support, typically obtained through a bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in management.
• Experience with enterprise application platforms, SDLC practices, and web application development in a multi-tenant environment, especially with Microsoft technologies including .NET, SQL Server, and messaging technologies.
• Azure development experience is required.
• Experience with Partner API integrations is required.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and implement software design principles and patterns.
• Proven leadership in hiring, motivating, and managing performance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience leading distributed and remote teams.
• High standards for quality and a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies.

This is a remote position.

Salary Range

$140,000.00 to $165,500.00 per year
